I like this essay for the same reasons I like Elvis Costello's song "What's So Funny About Peace Love and Understanding"

As of 11/02 we have the alma and akas built and connected, now for the mast, sail, and rudder.

Provides a simple interface for training and prediction using a backpropagation neural network. Free application avaialbe.

A really nice traffic simulation done by Kelly Liu at Mathworks. It is a Java applet and shows what can be done with simulations over the net.
